Situationists

Situationists believe that you don't have a "core" self, but different versions of yourself in different situations. You may act one way in school, another way at home, and a whole third way when at eg. practice.

This can be due to many different things. You may not know why you do it or even if you do it.

Free trait theory

The Free Trait Theory is a theory among some scientists where they believe that fixed- and free traits partially coexist. You are one personality/type but can change into someone else when you choose to. A person can go up and give a great speech, coming of as extroverted, when they inside really are introverted. They change themselves and their usual "trait" for the situation.
